But each must go, and go alone To meet the wide wor1d's needs, To meet the business people Who planted for us the seeds. Our childhood days are over, We stand mature now. We'1l go out unflinching, Holding back the tears, somehow. The Juniors now will take our place. They'1l follow through this year, You know we hate to give to them The things we've held so dear. But when our hearts have settled down And when we think it o'er U It isn't as if you had, in our face Just slammed the closing door. No, we are leaving with heads upheld. We're an honor to Tech, it seems, And the Juniors and the Sophomores See us fulfill their dreams. So up with our heads and shoulders back It isn't a whole life wreck, It's just shutting one door and opening another. An honor to dear old Tech.
