last will and testament We, the June 1950 Class of Charlotte High School, of the City of Rochester, in the County of Monroe and the State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this our last WILL and TESTA- MENT in the manner following, that is to say: First. We direct that all our just debts and class indebtedness be paid. 2. Wle bequeath our orderly conduct, out- standing intelligence, and good record as a class, to the Class of 1951. 3. To Mrs. Mitchell we bequeath a sixth period Geometry Class of athletes with early dismissals. 4. Hans fHot Rodj Herzberger leaves the parking space for the oldest car to Ronald Jacques. 5. Walter Barwald, Ray Durbin, Charles Ell- wanger, and Richard Nagel leave their slightly soiled eucher deck to Charles Nes- bit, Thomas Halpin, Lynn Reynolds, and Jack Lynch. 6. The Seniors of Latin III give Mrs. Denise fifty minutes. 7. Robert Steinfeldt leaves his witty remarks to anyone who wants them. 3. George Adams leaves the spade he leans on during Horticulture Class to Robert Lawson. 9. Joyce fMiss Peekyj Graham leaves her in- quisitive nature to Barbara Allen. 10. Charles Halpin leaves his near to ear grin to Julie Groth. 11. To ease Miss Childs' troubles, Sue Mill- hofer and Maddy Weber leave a recording of 'tGirlS, get your aprons, to be used dur- ing Home Economics classes. 12. William Spitz leaves his home permanent kit to Dan Morgan. 13. To Miss Doehler we bequeath a solid class of silent and intelligent gentlemen, all named Bill. 14. Homeroom 306 leaves to Miss Deane the hope of having a homeroom with no tardi- nesses. 15. Our class president, Bill Friday, leaves his book, 'aHow to Make Friends with, and In- fluence, Miss Cashman, to anyone engaged in disciplinable activities in the library. 16. Dick Walton and Doug Wight bequeath to Dr. Gell an everlasting supply of problems of American Democracy. 17. To the athletic coaches, we leave a reserva- tion for first place for their teams, a posi- tion our class was too modest to occupy. 13. Joanne Butterfield leaves Lyle Renner. 19. The Quotation Committee leaves all the slams and dirty digs they didn't use to the WITAN Stall' of 1951. Lastly, we bequeath to the incoming seventh graders the same happy hours and cheer- ful associations we enjoyed with our teach- ers and fellow students during our years at Charlotte High School. In Witness Whereof, we have hereunto sub- scribed our names at Rochester, New York, the first day of February, in the year One thousand nine hundred and fifty. We, whose names are hereto subscribed, do certify that on the first day of February 1950, the testator above named, subscribed his name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and at the same time, in our presence and hearing, declared the same to be our Last Well and Testament, and re- quested us, and each of us, to sign our names thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof, which we hereby do in the presence of the tes- tator and of each other, on the day of the date of the said Will.
