• • • eh enjoy The 1978-79 school year brought about a lot of changes in styles. The dress is “forties-style menswear . . . skinny ties, vests, pleated pants, etc. Blending in with the old is the new disco” clothing . . .shiny and dressy. The cars are sporty, the TV and movies are funny, and the music is a bit more mellow. To find out about these changes in styles, the 1979 Charhian staff took a poll on what CHS students most enjoy. Here are the results of that poll: In response to the question: What is your favorite pas- time?” these were the top ten answers: 1. Sports 2. Partying 3. Reading 4. Listening to music 5. Girls 6. Riding horses 7. Watching TV 8. Riding motorcycles 9. Going out 10. Hunting When asked: “What is your favorite TV show? the ten most popular replies were: 1. Morkand Mindy 2. M A S H 3. Battlestar Galactica 4. Three’s Company 5. C.H.I.P.'s” 6. Saturday Night Live 7. “Little House on the Prairie” 8. One Day at a Time” 9. WKRP in Cincinatti” 10. “The Muppet Show” Students seem to turn toward a sporty car. Here are the top ten favorites: 1. Trans Am 2. Corvette 3. Camero 4. Firebird 5. Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 6. Porsche 7. Ford Mustang II 8. Ford 4-Wheel Drive Truck 9. ’57 Chevy 10. Monte Carlo
