Zrad it ion ally, the Commercial 'Department Prepared Students to Enter the business World The commercial department of CHS has been formed to help the student be- come better prepared to make his way in the business world. This department has increased its scope of studies to offer better and more useful functions to the students. Some of the courses offered are bookkeeping, typing, office practice, general business, and stenography. Year after year, more students from CHS, through the competent guidance of the teachers, have gone into one of the com- mercial fields. Judy Bryner applied the techniques and skills taught in bookkeeping class. (Lower left inset) Katherine Barden taught the shorthand I and II classes and the typing I and II classes.
