and W1ll1amson broke through for the scores Charlotte 14 Howell 6 Th1s was one of the most thrxll mg games of the year and also was the decxdmg game of the Capltal Cxrcult League The Hlghlanders and f1n1sh of the twelfth hole wlth the score Next the Orlole golfers travel ed to Holt on May 7 where they won the match by 21 po1nts Howell ran over the Bronsonm ll by 41 po1nts but they came back to wln one Holt by 57 po1nts The rest of the matches are as follows Everett May 25 and Howell May 31 Also the Or1oles w1ll travel to Mason on June 1 for the Capltal C1rcu1t golf match Howell Eve et anl Ma son w1ll enter th1s meet Each team w1ll conslst of four mem bers Last year the golf team won one and lost two All members w1ll recelve large letters th1s year The1r extra po1nt attempt was stopped the Or1oles they went all out to w1n Rough play seemed to be the theme for the battle Wlth Charlottes good defenslve plaV burylng the Eaton Raplds ground attack they took to the alr but because of superlor coverage of pass recelvers and the l1ne smash 1ng ln on the passer the1r pass attack was also bottled up The two scores were made by Rolfe and Idle if lsaaemen Splut Clreult Honors, Lose
