The Danforth awards for outstanding leadership qualities go to Bertha Lenon and Robert King. They were presented the book I Dare You at the honor assembly. During her four years in high school Bertha has been a member of the C.A.A. F.H.A. and the debate club. She was co-manager of the junior magazine sales was in the junior play and has attended three honor dances. Besides taking part in football and track, Bob has been active in F.F.A., being successively vice presdeint and president. He has attended four honor dances. I-Ie served on the student council, one year and was class treasurer two years The Bausch and Lomb Science Award was presented to Rodney Wood for outstanding scientific achievements and attitudes. Rodney has been very active in music. He was a member of the camera club and the Latin club. He has taken part in the forensic contests, tl1e junior play, baseball, and has attended four honor dances. -4- I
