This Year s Dedica tion Goes To - Frances A Martin Miss Frances Martin was born February 3, 1909, in Charlevoix, Michigan. She graduated from Char- levoix High School in 19271 She then attended St. Mary's Hospital Nurs- ing Program from which she gradu- ated in 1930. In 1933, Miss Martin was in a car accident which left her paralyzed. With admirable stamina Miss Mar- tin went on to contribute her Valu- able assets to this community. She has been working with the Petoskey News Review and the Charlevoix Courier since 1936. She writes col- umns such as Odds and Ends - Charlevoix Courier and Et Ce- teras - Petoskey News Review. Miss Martin, a sports buff in high school, continues to support the area athletics. Many have seen her pic- tures of the Cross Country Team in action as well as endless team and action shots of all CHS sports. The Yearbook Staff would like to thank Miss Martin for the photo- graphs she has supplied over the years. If all of the contributions Miss Martin has made were to be listed, they could easily Hll the book, so we will end here.
