That's the Way the Ball Bounces! . . .into basket, after basket, after basket. Anyway that's the way the ball bounced for the J.V. Girls' Basketball Team who finished with a 15-1 record. It seems the girls spent many long and hard hours on the court practic- ing which seemed to have no end! They practiced everything from passing to tying their shoes. When the practice session was over it always seemed that there was an- other-and another-until the season was finally overg when the girls put away their basketballs, cherishing the past year, and waiting for the next. l Band! A-Ten-Hut With many long, hard hours of drilling be- hind them and Stutzmans whistle broken in, the C.H.S. Marching band was ready to start a season of performances. Unfortunately the Flag Corp didn't know exactly what they had gotten themselves into! Not only was a small note of irritation detected from the band to- wards the weather, but at times a whole mea- sure! lt seems each step was grin and bear it, but the satisfaction in the end was worth it.
