There were good times and then - there were the bad times. Those boring days and weeks and those - educating ones? A fun-filled but bittersweet year that had all the makings of one that could NEVER be forgotten -for. . . This lsTlwYewuTl1a1vWas This was the year that was for all Seniors hopefully the last year of high school and the beginning of a new life. It was the year of high hopes, some that were fulfilled some that were lost in the confusion of too many activities or too few such as high hopes for a fantastic senior trip and settling for Cedar Point. This was the year that found many Seniors voting and waiting for the golden age of 18, of course in which to register. This was the year of hard work and frost- bitten hands and feet and the Xmas Tree Sale. Homecoming float, car wash, bake sales, pop and candy machines, the juke box, and the Name the Feeta' contest. This was the year of changing. There is now an ex-officio on the School Board. We tried to abolish Baccalaureate, but in the age of communicating through what seems to be empty ceremonies, we proved that one needs a moment to express himself and his ideas to the community. Looking forward, yet never forgetting where we have passed before. Looking ahead to something new . . . This Is The Year That Was . . .
