i'Id - i E In'uennhn. MASS HISHHH In the autumn of 1950 eighty-four freshmen enrolled in Arsenal High School. In the middle of the first and second semester we had a class outing. We went to Henryville Forestry. Our sponsors were: Mr. Bonsett, Mr. Agne and Mr. Giannopolus. Seventy-seven students came back for our sophomore year. Our sponsor was Mr. Miller. During our first semester we had a skating party: the second, we went to Spring Mill. We ordered our class rings, which were to be delivered-in the fall of 1952. Our junior year was the time we had looked forward to. We would sponsor the prom, we would get our class rings, and we would present a play. There were seventy-three students this year. We chose Mr. Miller as our sponsor again. Mr. Miller left us, and we chose Mr. Weiss. We elected as class officers: President, Harley Gaines; Vice-President, Norma Sue Engle; and Secretary-Treasurer, Pattie Kay Bare. The first semester we had a skating party. The second seme ster We worked on the producing of the play, On With the New, and the prom. Our final year at school began with the enrollment of sixty-one students. We had at last made the long climb through three years of education. We would soon be graduating and leaving, having an education and memories that no one could take from us. We elected Mrs. Sonner as our sponsor. As class officers we chose; President, Harley Gaines; Vice-President, Jimmy Pearson; and Secretary- Treasurer, Jean Couch. We had a skating party the first semester. The second semester we discussed our trip, where we would like to go, and our financial situation. We decided we would go to Washington D. C. We also had our Senior play, If Mother Only Knew. It was a pleasing success. We would like to thank our teachers for helping us to get through four of the most important and enjoyable years of our life.
