It is with deep appreciation that we, the class of '62 dedicate our Lyre to a man who has so graciously devoted his time and himself for our school's advancement and achievements in interscholastic athletics. He is a person that we will never forget as a teacher, coach, and friend. Whenever we think of a satisfactory win or a disappointing loss, we will always remember the one who did the most to make that contest possible. We, hereby, dedicate this yearbook to you, Mr. Sennett.

Dear Readers: We, the 1962 Lyre Staff, sincerely hope that this book will be a lasting reminder of our days in Baker High. In the following pages, we attempted to recall some of the activities, both social and academic, of our senior year. To accomplish this, we selected a theme of Hands. For four years, we have been in the hands of our faculty and administration. Now as they place a diploma in our hands, we are ready to undertake the future with the confidence and knowledge they have given us. We have watched the hands of our athletes, as the teams represent our school in interscholastic sports. Here as in all of the school activities and organizations, each member contributes his ability to make the group function better. As editor I would like to thank each member of the Lyre Staff and all those who assisted us for their co-operation in compiling our yearbook. I join all of them in proudly presenting the 1962 Lyre.
