Some oT The highlighTs oT This perTormance were a girls' sexTeT, a solo by Carolyn Navin, The Czeclcoslavalcian Eollc Song , and We Wish You a Merry ChrisTmas . The laTTer half of The program consisTed OT a cornposiTion enTiTled Noel: A ChrisTmas PoTpourri , which was presenTed by boTh The band and The chorus. Since January The chorus labored on an opereTTa, ln Old Vienna . This was The TirsT Time ThaT an opereTTa was presenTed in B. l-l. S. AT The end oT such a session The Teachers Tincl Themselves delighTTully enTerTained by such excerpTs of The opereTTa as Pickles or The Vision boTh highlighTs oT This musical enTerTainmenT. Under The direcTion oT Mr. Joseph Davis, The academy chorus has conTinued iTs progress Through- ouT The year. Many new Types OT music have been accomplished including A Cappella singing.
