I I4 INTERCLASS BASKETBALL lnterclass Basketball has provided thrills a-plenty this year, what with the close games and fast play as the younger lads really dished it out, proving that skill and not size is what counts.. Seriously, though, these Thursday afternoon tilts were a great attraction and deserve praise for their promotion of basketball as a competitive sport while training our future stars. Take it easy, Navin. Come on, pass it. Fall back, you dummies. These are scraps of what a passer-by will hear issuing forth from the gym on Friday nights. It is Girls' lntrtamural Basketball in full swing. Under the supervision of Mr. Guerrera and Miss Nelson, the girls have slowly but steadily improved .in their passing, dribbling and aim to become good players. The teams were captained as follows: the White Shirts by Meta Brammer and Ann Zahn, the Green Backs by Helen Henderson and Frederica Mon- tague, the Blue Birds by Janice Fulmer and Joan Folletg and the Red Wings by Marcia Gates and Carolyn Navin. Each and every girl realizes that she has developed better sportsmanship and a stronger body for having participated in her beloved sport of basketball.
