Shirley Yvonne Brown Shirley This fun-loving member of the senior class has been with us since Wright Denny opened its doors to us in 1942. Shir- ley's ambition is to become a nurse but her interest in F.H.A. work leads us to believe that some lucky guy may change it for her. So whatever it bc, the class of '54 wishes you luck, Shirley. '54 VVhcrc there's band music, there's always Dean, one of the leading figures in our hand. He has been with us all twelve years and has been active in sports, dramatics, and music. He has a winning personality which will always take him a long way. Her future now is undecided but we are sure john will have something to do with it. Lacy Neal Anders fic igarv Lacy, one of the class clowns, came to us from NVright Denny School and has been with us ever since. He has been very active in sports. His plans for the future are indefinite but we know that he will be successful in anything he undertakes. Mary Elizabeth Boyd ..Betty,, Here is a quiet but cheerful member of our class who is better known to us as Betty. She came to C. H. S. from Xvfigllt Denny with the rest of us. 1'9 Frances jean Clendening Fran Fran, one of the red-haired members of our class, can usually be fo un d with Ann Hough. She came to us from Leetown Elementary and has added a lot of fun and spirit to our class. She has been a mem- ber of our snappy C.H.S. band sinee it was organized in 1950. His favorite pastime is hunting and fishing, and he can usually be found doing one or the other of them around Leetown.
