5 CDR. HUGH M. RUBINSUN Captain EU Commander Hugh M. Robinson was graduated from the U. S. Naval Acad- emy in the Class of 1938. After a tour in a four stack destroyer he joined a PT Boat Squadron with which he spent most of the war. He received the Silver Star Medal for action while serving as a PT Boat Commander. After successive tours at law school, in USS FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT and with Military Sea Transport Service in Washington he joined the BADCER. During the past two years he has distinguished himself as an expert ship handler and all around Commanding Oflicer. LCDR. HARRY E. SYNDER Executive Ufficer l A if LCDR Harry E. Snyder was graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy in 1943 and proceed- ed to duty in USS LUCE which served in the Pacific until sunk during the invasion of Oki- nawa. He commissioned the USS KYES in early 1946, followed with a tour as Command- ing Officer of an LSM, and reported to the U. S.
