EIGHTH GRADERS Despite the fact that eighth graders tend to be a forgotten group -- too old to be pampered as seventh graders and too young to be given the social benefits of the ninth graders -- we have managed to be seen, felt, and heard at Hart this year. ' Realizing that school develops a person academically as Well as socially, we eighth graders are takiny., advantage of. each provided opportunity because we have great wells of talent which may benefit us and , i society. For this reason, eighth graders are heard on the Student Council ,, vocalizing the wishes of students, We are seen on the newspaper and yearbook staffs, we are seen moving dynamically across the basketball court, gliding gracefully in rhythmic motion during various school programs. We are, indeed, involved in the total school environment. Several of our peers make the honor roll and join the Honor Society each advisory. Therefore, we realize that eighth graders are too committed to the entire school to ever be thought of as a forgotten group. ' Y A Mrs. F. Robinson Charlene A.
