18 Row 1: Kevin Priest — Historian, Stacey Baxter — Secretary. Row 2: Leonard Schnur — Sgt. at Arms, Staci Shipley — Vice President, Moses Urbano — President, Kim Dybala — Treasurer. We never thought we would climb this high Our goal never seemed real Now as this mysterious dream concludes, We hardly know how to feel. Having to part with our day to day friends Leaving a portion of our lives, Can this possibly be what we sought When we took those first few strides? For things change, and so do we. There comes a time to move on. But with the lessons we’ve learned and friends we’ve made, How can we possibly go wrong? There are new goals ahead. Each day is a shining new door Just waiting to be opened By this, our class of ’84. — Susan E. Sweeney

Being an Outstanding Senior involves a great deal more than having a high grade point average, being a member of many organiza- tions at Milby, or merely seeking recognition. An Outstanding Senior must be courageous, responsible, patient, and dedicated in meeting Milby’s increasing needs without thoughts of recognition. Therefore, being selected as an Outstanding Senior is an honor representing great quantities of time and effort given unselfishly to Milby. — Susan E.
