3in Memoriam Schoenie AI. A. P. Mr. Shone 7 Mr. Schoenfield. To each greeting, a friendly Howdy. A portly man. A bit concerned over a physical con- dition that didn't improve. Yes, a bit of a worrier. A man with many things in the past to be proud of—All-Conference end at Rice, a fine family, many friends. And with seme things to remember that would leave a less tolerant person bitter indeed. But above all, a man with faith in his kids , many of them give-ups by sterner, less bending teach- ers. What of these kids ? Many, in fact most, justify- ing Schoenie's faith by growing up to, or into, an adult world. And for those still short of making it , Al's Someday, wait and see.
