P-TA Honors Students And Faculty for the past year at Milby, the P-TA has been striving for better relationship between parents, teachers, and students. The P-TA, a voluntary organization, has united the homes, school, and community for the bettering of youth activities. Leading the P-TA in their work is Mrs. E. L. McFeron, president: Mr. Roscoe Bayless, vice-president: Mrs. J. G. Gonzales, treasurer: Mrs. Roger Griffin, historian: Mrs, John McClinton, parliamentarian: Mrs. Clara McLendon, dean: and Mr. W. L Stevenson, principal. In their activities, the P-TA has accomplished much for Milby. They served at the Faculty Open House in October and March: they also served the sophomores in September and January. They gave away one P-TA life membership to Principal, W. I. Stevenson. A turkey dinner was held as a money-making project and sandwiches and cookies were served at Homecoming. At Mr. Stevenson ' s birthday reception, April 2, the P-TA served refreshments. Work on school petitions, co-operacion with teachers in the Christmas Party, nnd helping with the Hearing Test for students, and spon soring party for the winning homeroom in P-TA attendance.
