The Milby Coed Cadettc officers twirl fite batons. Spirit Sparks the Intangibles of Big Blue’ Spirit is everywhere — it is something that every student has at Milby. Spirit at Milby is so great because Milby students are spirit. Everyone enters into every phase of campus life with enthusiasm, vigor, and happy confidence. Spirit is seen and felt in so many places . . . the faces of the campus favorites, the seniors at graduation, the editors of publications, strug- gling drama students, the studious scientists of tomorrow, the cheerleaders, the co-eds. the i athletic teams, and jubilant couples dancing after a football game. In the classroom, at the pep rallies, and in the stands, as well as on the playing field, the Buff’s spirit is evident. Petty differences and prejudices are forgotten and each student works together toward a com- mon goal, sharing the responsibility of holding high the spirit left by the last Buffalo family. Spirit reflects the true aspects of campus life and student personality — the freedom and energy of the students to make a colorful life at Milby.
