CLASS OF '56 At the end of their three years at C.H.S., the Seniors have wonderful memories to remember. Their sophomore memories include the play they put on that was directed by Ed Brown and was called: The Ides of March Ccondensation of Julius Ceasarjg the traditional bonfire for the Lewiston-Clarkston game. They concluded this year with the decoration for baccalaureate. Their second successful year was started with two really memorable dances: the Witches Ball in November and the junior Prom, Aloha, in March. This year was ended in the decoration for graduation. Upon endering their best and final year at C.H.S., they got off to a good start with the boys painting the This was followed by the very delightful and suc- cessful Senior Class Play, directed by jack Watkins, called: You Can't Take It With You. The Senior Ball came next. The- theme of this gala affair was Moon Over Manhattan. Then as Spring arrived the seniors slipped away for a day to their annual Senior Sneak. Baccalaureate followed and finally came Commencement. -Now it is time to depart, leaving behind us all our wonderful memories at C.H.S. -11- f Our top student this year is Molly Melcher As president of Girls League the work Molly has done has shown her superior ability as a leader Besides presi dent of Girls League Molly also shows great skill and grace in her modern danc mg She will long be remembered as a sincere friend and a hard worker In the future, we are sure Molly will succeed in whatever she may undertake U41 AML cforc an Molly Jo Melcher .gafulalonan Ann Lucille Kelso OIIOI' Our second honor student is Ann Kelso She too has shown great ability and initiative in many fields Ann has been very active in music This year she has done a swell job as a member of the Swing Band Sh will be remembered for her outstanding character her will known smile and her pleasing person ality These will assure her success meeting the world Donna Jean Armstrong Bonnie Lee Bartlett Paul Elwood Carlson Darla Rae Case Carol Mae Davis Harriet Loyce Durand Michael Richard Edgemond Ellen Jeanne Fitzgerald Ad1ne Beatrice Foredyce Sandra Lee Fred Bonnie Marie Freeman Janyce Eloise Haaland John Philip Hughes Sandra Lynn Johnson Dorothy Mar1e Jones Ann Lucille Kelso 12 Edna Faye King Virginia Teresina Lupinaccr Curtiss Chalmers McKarcher Joann McDaniel Molly Jo Melcher Wayne Ellis Millsap Ruth Marilyn Nelson Camille Christine Petersen Lloyd LaVerne Prke Lorilee June Powers Nancy Jane Renshaw Marilyn Gayle Schlee Helen Marie Scheibe Dean Paul Van Trease Wilma Joyce Wilks .
