The produc- tion ot Glenn l-luahes' play Happy-Go-Lucky, Was a major project. ln cooperation with the music depart- ment they presented a number ot Christmas tableau scenes. The second semester was spent in readina and studyina a aroup ot one-act plays. A large portion ot the club's tunds was contributed to the purchase oi the new cyclorama. Pickles-a light-hearted musical, Was presented by the mixed glee club, Miss l-lomchick directing. Wally Gray, Vivian Sims, lean Ripley and Don Rainville played the leading roles 'midst gypsys, tourists, and the secret service oi Vienna . . . The lunior Class pre- sented a three-act comedy, Tons ot Money, revealing the trials and tribulations ot Morris Kidwell and Betty lean Iones, a young married couple . . . The All-Hi play, Clarence, by Booth Tarkington, and the Senior play, Spring Fever, by Glen Hughes, presented later in the season, scored big hits. Twentv-tive members picked up some valuable lessons from Kenneth Wyatt, President, who is also a member of the Clarkston rifle team. CAMERA CLUB Our enthusiastic new faculty member. Nlr. Morehouse, brought with him the desire to organize a camera club. Several members helped to equip a dark room and then the fun began. They found that printing and developing pictures was great sport. HI-Y CLUB The lli-Y, another new club that has met with much enthusiasm bv the fellows is for the purpose of promoting character and service in the school. L'nder the supervision of Supl. Martin, the club meets each Monday noon for lunch and a business session. The highlight of the year was the delegation of fifteen members to the older boys' conference at Washington State College.
