We Salute You MR. W. G. MOLLENAUER Mr. Mollenauer came to Charleroi in 1920. After a series of jobs he began to teach in January, 1925. That was the beginning of a glorious lifetime job. This career spans a period of 34-M years-all in Char- leroi High School except for his first half year in our junior high school. During this time he has taught algebra and plane geometry. Mr. Mollenauer has been a good teacher-conscientious, sincere, and inspirational. Every algebra or geometry course was sprinkled with bits of philosophy for better living and a better understanding of the oft used words-the brotherhood of man. Extracurricularly, Mr. Mollenauer founded the Hi-Y organization in C.H.S. in 1931 and remained its sponsor to 194-7 when. the club disbanded. We can think of no better way to show our appreciation for and to heap some well deserved praise on our man who has devoted his life to the education of our youth than to repeat the purpose of the Hi-Y- To create, maintain and extend throughout the home, school and community, high standards of Christian character. We salute you, Mr. Mollenauer, on a career distinguished with honor and dignity. We shall miss you. We hope you and Mrs. Mollenauer will have a long and happy life after school, and may it be overflowing with the blessings of God. . Eight
