An tl what gives a seliool this soul? lt is the teachers, who in their eeaseless, devoted and s lime ways, lead our youth in this search of free and truthful thinlin-' N by Yet, there must he one to guide the leaders. There must be one to set the pattern, to explore unknown horivons---to find the right way. There must be one who is the ultimate great soulu as we build our great sehool. The guide in the Clharleroi School llistriet has been for nine years a superintendent, one year an as- sistant superintendent, twenty two years a principal, three years a teaeher-for thirty five years devoting his llle to the liuilding of a great school. Wie like to think that here is a man and his dream-a dream that came into being when he first entered the field of education.
