Fore ord Dear Diary: Another school year has come to an end. It has gone to join those many years of the glorious past. And like many things in this life of ours the memories, the activi- ties, the associations we now have will begin to fade. Iinveloped in gossamer wrappings they will become dim- will seem almost mer and more distant. Sometimes they out of reach. It is then that I shall open this diary and, for a few moments, relive those days that were carefree, happy and formative. I shall realize that those were indeed years of new and greater experieneesg days of dreaming, plan- ning, and wondering what lay beyond the horizon. Through you, dear diary, I shall remember-always remember. I shall thrill and sigh to the turning pages through all the passing years. And if my eyes become a little moist, it will be only because your words and pic- tures have made me happy. Today's realities will be for- gotten for a while, and I shall be young again, I shall be a student a gain. Q' 4
