DEDICA TION The 1973-74 edition of Caps and Capes is dedicated to the students of Charity Hospital School of Nursing, a student body united in a common goal to become a professional nurse. No one deserves more recognition than you who have struggled through long hours of study, care plans and history forms; taken the bus in the early morning hours from Charity Hospital School of Nursing to University of New Orleans; struggled to find parking places around the school; worked in Charity’ Emer ' gency Room; used sheets for towels and pillowcases for washcloths to care for patients; and withstood five tests in one week. All of this has been done in your quest of this goal and so often it seemed like an impossible dream. So to all the students of C.H.S.N. . . . this book is about you and for you.
