It is to self-government,, the great principle of popular representation and administration the system that lets in all to participate in its counsels that we owe what we are and what we hope to be. -Daniel Webster Student Council Responsibility for good government under any democratic form of organization rests upon all, and the school should give preparation for the political life of tomorrow by training its pupils to meet respon¬ sibility, developing initiative, awakening social insight and causing each to shoulder a fair share of the government of the school. Thus lies the objective and aim of the governing division of the student body. To discuss current problems and suggest improvements, and to consider infractions of regulations with which students may be charged are the basic functions of the student body which is composed of duly elected officers and representatives from each class. The basis for our organization lies in the motto: For the students - by the Students.
