The flame of learning and giving burns in him and, in his own words, he is content when he sees a small spark grow into a flame within his students. As a student, he skipped three grades (3-5-11), and entered college at fifteen. During these special years of college, which we now e.xperience, he lead a band, earned his bachelor and master degrees in music and religion at U.S.C. to obtain liis Ph.d. in world religion. Since 1952, this dedicated teacher has been with us. During Seven years old. Dr Huntington with his wife, Judy. this time he has participated in the East-West Philosophers Conference in Hawaii, started a book on world religions, spon- sored the international club, kept score at the basketball games, has been dean of the ship in 1966, head of the religion department, and next year he will be director of the New Asian Area Studies program. Because this teacher has given us the flame that glows within himself, because he cares to give knowledge of life itself, we the students of Chapman College dedicate the CEER for 1967-1968 to you, Dr. Ronald M.
