This is Henry Wingo, He's the larmer's son, Sometimes he's laughing and talking Then teasing and making lun Another girl I bring And l won't hesitate to say That you'll be pleased to meet her, She is Miss Eugenia Day. This is Norman Jenkins The best all-round boy And the best sport and athlete He is our pride and joy. This is Lucy Rogers, Impossible for her to be good, She is the noisest in the class- That is always understood. This girl is Ruth Strange So nilty and wise, The pride of our lile, The light of our eyes. The boy who's laughing there is Clyde The Finch ol all the crowd, He's very nice as you can see But he just will talk out loud. Now will you please meet Paul The High -est of the class, Of names now l am speaking Because High is his last. This girl they've nicknamed Rum .lust why l do not know, She has a beautiful given name, By rights she's Edisto. This lair-skinned girl is Lucille, The joy of all the room, She isn't married 'cause you see Her last name still is Broom . I, Cecelia Waters, do hereby will my fat to Jennie Sawyer hoping that she can malce good use of it on the baslcat ball court.
