Chaplain The senior year is the culmination and climax of years of study and preparation. As the familiar cycle of events begins for the last time, each Senior invariably experiences a conflict of emotions. The last Homecoming, School Carnival, Senior Play, Variety Night, the selection of Miss Chapin High, the Athletic Banquet, the end of the Foot- ball, Basketball, and Baseball Seasons, the final final--all these produce both a sensation of release and a twinge of regret. At last, graduation--the moment so long awaited--arrives, the walk down the aisle, a walk leaving behind forever the care-free days of high school and leading to the uncertain future that lies ahead. All past hopes, fears, and desires fade into the challenge of tomorrow as each senior experiences the transition from student to alumnus. With anticipation, eagerness, and doubt, each goes forward to assume his place in the world of maturity.
