Richard Lindler Q55j Benny Counts QSOJ and Derrill Cannon 1205 Chapin-Cardinal Newman Game Chapin-Hollywood Game l6'aseball-- I 965 A The baseball team of 1965 consisted of Carl Derrick, Ray Erick, Kenny Amick, Wayne Cannon, Ricky Cromer, Stanley Sapp, Glenn Wessinger, Pete Hendricks, Larry Monts, Derrill Cannon, Glenn Addy, Benny Counts, Glenn Ray Bickley, Robbie Erick, Laverne McCartha, Leland Teal, Tony Cromer, Delbert Wessinger, George Branham. The Eagles played eleven Conference IV B Games winning five and losing six on the season. The fine display of sportsmanship, the eagerness of the team and the loyalty to the school were characteristic of the boys making up the 1965 team. There were six seniors who won't be back to play in the 1966 season. The seniors of the '65 team were Carl Derrick, Kenny Amick, Wayne Cannon, Ricky Cromer, Stanley Sapp, Ray Erick. Glenn Howard Wessinger, catcher, was the recipient ofthe MOST VALUABLE PLAYER AWARD made at the annual athletic banquet in May. The Eagles of 1966 are optimistically looking forward to the Baseball Season of 1966 and we are sure that win or lose they will represent us well and give us just cause to be proud of their performance on the baseball diamond.

fudsuf Gmfernmcrzf The Chapin Student Council serves Chapin School with the best interests of the students and school as the central purpose. They work directly with the faculty for the bet- terment of the school and its students. There have been many worthwhile projects planned and carried out by the Council for the improvement of the school and the benefit of the students. The Council is composed of the President, the Vice- President, the Secretary, the Treasurer, elected by the entire student body and the class representatives elected by their respective classes.
