Last Will and Testament We, the graduating class of Chapel Hill High School, in this year, 1952, being of sound mind and disposing memory, but considering the uncertainty of our earthly existence, do make and declare this our last will and testament: I. We, the Senior Class, do hereby leave Chapel Hill High School in hopes to attain goals of higher learning, and of avoiding our local Draft Board, No. 69. II. I ,Borden Abernethy, do leave my reputation of Don Juan of C. H. H. S. to Sherry Lewis. III. I, Carolyn Shepard, do leave my post in the library to Roxada Harward and Ellen Sparrow. IV. I, Charlie Green, do leave my snooping on behalf of the Honor Council to anyone with a nose for smoke. V. I, Sandra Mann, do leave my everlasting vitality to the Hadacol Com- pany. VI. I, Bucky Vickers, do leave my Benedrex inhaler and my chapstick to Jimmy Goodwin. VII. I, Sarah Jane Capps, do leave my swimming ability to the frogs in the Bowman Gray Pool. VIII. I, Don Christopher, do leave my affiliation with the products of Ford Motor Company to Ronnie Mann. IX. I, Rachel Thompson, do leave my driving ability to the Fontys in Chapel Hill High School. X. I, Jake McLaughlin, do leave my buddy behind. XI. I, Mary Haley, do leave my motorcycle belt to Gray McAllister. XII. I, Frank Scott, do leave my appreciation of the Durham Armory to Robert Thomas. XIII. I, Diana Whittinghill, do leave my sketchbook and pen to Joanna Scroggs. XIV. I, Betty Lou Moody, do leave my singing ability to Anzenette Andrews. XV. I, Brownie Fitch, do leave my glorious press clippings to the posterity of CHHS in hopes they may profit by them. XVI. I, Tom Maultsby, do leave my athletic ability and peanuts to anyone who has the endurance to master them. XVII. I, Iris Merritt, do leave my beauty and poise to Penny Martin. XVIII. I, Lee Guthrie, do leave my hair grease to Tyler ' s Service Station — need I say more? XIX. I, Norma Baldwin, do leave my well-developed vocal cords to Jean Hin- shaw. XX. I, Carl MacPherson, do leave my love of electronics to Billy Thompson. XXI. I, Barry Winston, do leave my flair for dramatics to Miss Lewis. XXII. I, Bob Patterson, do leave the moving picture industry to Mac Proctor. XXIII. I, Royce Tripp, do leave my high degree of reasoning and my quiet ways to Larry Cheek. XXIV. I, Nathale Crittenton, do leave my amorous ways and simple dress to Tommy Lloyd. XXV. I, Barbara Bright, do leave my Southern accent to Harvey Stoffer. XXVI.
