C45. Willie's hobby is arguing. Sometimes the argument gets so hot that a little flash of Willie's temper gleams forth, but this isn't often, and Willie has so many other good qualities that we forget all about this when we are around him. He went out for foot- ball again this year and was an important man in the line up. We might say about Willie that he is not too sober, and not too gay, but a true blue boy in every way. VVhen a respon- sibility has come her way she has assumed it and done her duty. She seldom expresses her own opinions, but is a good listener. She has been especially interested in the wel- fare of the Senior Class, and, although she hasn't held a senior ofhce, she has done her part to make a success the things that the Class of '26 has undertaken.

Sam takes an active part in all school activities, but especially does he shine forth in athletics. During the football season of this year the brilliant name of Sam Paulsen many times adorned the sport pages of several state papers, as a star in the game which Chapel Hill had played with some neighboring town. He can go for days without opening a book and still manage to get by. We must, how- ever, attribute this to the fact that he is naturally bright, Next year it will prob- ably be Carolina, but wherever you are, we're expecting great things from you, Sam. C45: Morrison Literary Society C15, C25, C3J. C45- G. O. P. is the two gun terror of Orange County. This boy's ambition, we are told, is to become a real prairie shiek. Gradon left school for a while, but soon tired of State Highway work and returned to C. H. H. S. to complete his football education. He has the distinction of being the biggest bluff in the senior class, and is always on the lookout for someone who is willing to listen to his never ending line . We are especially proud of Gradon be- cause this year he made the debating team. C. H. H. S. could not have had a better orator to represent her in the triangular debate. Page Twenty-Six E ui fu

Rosa is certainly an ideal girl. She well deserves the position of Editor-in-Chief of Hillife and has worked hard to make it a success. In times of serious trouble, such as studying for a Chemistry quiz, Rosa is never down-hearted, but always wears a smile and looks on the bright side of things. Her ambition is to be a teacher. If she manages a school room as well as she has managed her school work this year-well, we Wouldn't mind being one of her pupils. CHAUNCEY LAKE ROYSTER Age 16-Weight 130-Height 5 ft. 8 ins. VVe understand that Taddy is quite cosmopolitan. His travels have been fre- quent and far, and his knowledge and ad- vice, are consumed by his brethren with re- lish. Bull sessions in which he partici- pates are indeed fruitful. He has taken part in school activities extensively and has stuck through basketball, football, and base- ball faithfully. It is rumored that he will attend VVoodberry Forest next year. We wish you luck, Chauncey. Page Twenty-Eight
