Hubert hails from Calvander, and is rough and hardy constituent of the soil of good old Orange. He has gained a prodi- gious number ot friends by his amiable ways and his football ability. He has held the berth of left guard for the last two sea- sons, Ca position shunned by no one on the squadj. Hubert is reputed to be a great swimmer, having a pond on his farm, another excellent solution for his speed. All his 26 classmates know the name of Hogan will be on the tongue tips of men. Emily came to us in September from Dur- ham High. Although she has been with us only one year she has become very popular and well-liked by the students at C. H. H. S. VVe don't know what she would do without her chewing gum, 'cause she's always chew- ing. We are sure that Emily couldn't count the times that she has been before the Stu- dent Council, but she takes it as a good sport. She was voted the dumbest person in the class of '26, but this must be one of those rare cases where ignorance is bliss because if Emily is dumb she certainly is a good old girl along with it. HuFfer has a number of good traits, but the one that makes us like him most is his keen sense of humor. He never lets anything worry him, and whether it's a Chemistry quiz or a Hi-Y party to look forward to, he always looks on the bright side. Introducing the Honorable President of the Morrison Literary Society. Bill is small change, but he surely does rattle. He is one of the Stacomb sheiks of the High School, being a favorite with all the girls. He can do anything from playing basket- ball, to representing C. H. H. S. in the tri- angular debates. He is not only a good bas- ketball player and a good debater, but he is one of the best little dancers you've ever seen. For proof of this last statement just ask the High School girls. Bill is too small to play football, but he plays the game as cheer leader. Here's to you, Bill, May all your troubles be little ones, and all the little ones be girls. Can you imagine a girl making 99 on three exams and 98 on the fourth one? Well, that is just what Esther did O11 her mid-terms. She also won second place in the State Latin Contest. Old '26 is proud to have such a person as this in her class. If you are ever having difficulty with a French sentence or a Math problem, just go to Esther! she caxI certainly help you out. We certainly do like her, and have proved this by electing her secretary and historian of the Senior Class. We know, Esther, that your success in life is assured, but we just must take this opportunity to wish you happiness and a host of friends in the future.
