Lewis has been too busy during his high school career to take an active part in athletics or other outside acti- vities, but you don't have to be a good ath- lete to be a good boy.

Beany is an all-round good sport. Every member of the class of '26 knows this. We mustn't judge her true worth by her size, for, although she's one of the smallest girls in the class, she's one of the best. She takes life easy and never has too much to do to go to the Pick',. Beany's worst ail- ment is heart trouble , though it would be difficult to convince her of such. Is her malady incurable? ROLAND ALBERT DODSON Age 20-Weight 150-Height 5 ft. 11 ins. Morrison Literary Society C31, C413 Fun Club C313 Dramatic Club C41. Roland is one of the few quiet boys in the Class of '26. He never gets called down for loud talking, laughing, etc., like the rest of us. Don't think, however, that because Roland is quiet he is one of the goody- goodyn kind. Far from it. You have to know him well to appreciate what a fine fellow he is. He is very fond of music and many afternoons you can hear him playing the scales in Mrs. William's studio. Due to the fact that he lives out of town he is unable to take an active part in organized sports, but he is a loyal backer and strong supporter of the school. Page Eighteen

The many honors she holds show something of the honor and respect that we have for her, but never all the admiration and love that is in our hearts. She has proven highly efficient in all offices given her. In fact, she is so de- pendable that we have almost overworked her. We feel, in loosing Lyda, that C. H. H. S. has lost a great deal of its charm and brightness. We know that she will bring honor to the College that she attends and that someday she will bring love and happiness to someone , just as she has brought it to us in Chapel Hill High. VVe now turn to one of the most studious girls in our class. Lola not only takes six subjects and makes the honor roll, but finds time to go out for basketball as well. Her pet subject is chemistry in which she in- tends to major in College. She takes a great deal of interest in Church work and was voted the most religious in our class. Her time is valuable to her and every min- ute is occupied, but this doesn't keep her from being a jolly good sport and an all- round good girl. Page Twenty
