Beany is an all-round good sport. Every member of the class of '26 knows this. We mustn't judge her true worth by her size, for, although she's one of the smallest girls in the class, she's one of the best. She takes life easy and never has too much to do to go to the Pick',. Beany's worst ail- ment is heart trouble , though it would be difficult to convince her of such. Is her malady incurable? ROLAND ALBERT DODSON Age 20-Weight 150-Height 5 ft. 11 ins. Morrison Literary Society C31, C413 Fun Club C313 Dramatic Club C41. Roland is one of the few quiet boys in the Class of '26. He never gets called down for loud talking, laughing, etc., like the rest of us. Don't think, however, that because Roland is quiet he is one of the goody- goodyn kind. Far from it. You have to know him well to appreciate what a fine fellow he is. He is very fond of music and many afternoons you can hear him playing the scales in Mrs. William's studio. Due to the fact that he lives out of town he is unable to take an active part in organized sports, but he is a loyal backer and strong supporter of the school. Page Eighteen

If Calvin plays the game of life as well as he played the game of football he will certainly be a success. This year he made all-state center. He has also done some good work during the basketball season. For two years Calvin has been Art Editor of Hillife. If you will look at the cartoons in our annual, you will agree with us that he deserves this position. He certainly knows his stuff when it comes to the ladies. The girls, it seems, don't mind this so much, in fact, they seem to like it. Such popularity must surely be deserved! Page Sezfezzteeu RUPERT LLovD BYNUM Age 20-VVeight 155-Height 5 ft. 10ins. Rupert distinguished himself this year by making a place on the basketball team and by doing some stellar playing in several of our games. He seems to be somewhat shy of the ladies . VVe don't know whether he is afraid of them, or whether his time is too valuable to spend with the opposite sex. Next year it's going to be Carolina for Ru- pert. Olcl U. N. C. will do well to get such a man as this one, and we think that in a few years Rupert will be playing on that All-Southern basketball quint that goes to Atlanta to the tournament every year and brings back the trophy.

This, however, doesn't prevent those who know him well from knowing his true worth. He is a studious, hard- working boy, which is certainly a valuable asset to anyone. Lewis has been too busy during his high school career to take an active part in athletics or other outside acti- vities, but you don't have to be a good ath- lete to be a good boy.
