The fun started on Monday - 50's Day, with a sock-hop during lunch. Other ac- tivities included: The Bug - Race, won by the Seniors and the 50's assembly. Tuesday - Twin Day, honored the Best Twins: Brian Green 81 Iimmy Evans and the Cutest Couple: Bridget Hahn 8: Curtis Mormon. On Wednesday - Cowboy Day, Sandy Seliba and Mike Suits prevailed in the costume category. Rival Day - Thursday, was headed by the sponge throw, with Sheri Ramano 8: Clint Walker winning best costumes. On Spirit Day the Football team won Most Spirited and proved they were tough by holding the Gorman Gaels to a 16-17 score in an unfortunate but exciting homecoming game. At Friday's Pep Assembly, Chaparral was joined by its Alumni, and we were entertained by our Songleaders and Cheerleaders. Iillaine Hammond reigned as the 1979 Homecoming Queen along with her attendants: julie Alexander, Alicia De- Luca, Erin Colleran and Debbie Whaley. g Mitre STUDENT LIFE I 17
