Black History Week is the one week in the year when America takes time out to honor Afro-Americans both living and dead. lt is also a time when Afro-Americans take a few minutes to rejoice over their accomplishments and assess what is yet needed to be done. To give Chaparral Staff members an idea of what they might be missing at dinner, Soul club members cooked up a Soul lunch and delivered it to those teachers who put in an order. All who participated enjoyed ribs, bar- becued chicken, greens, corn bread, potato pie and potato salad. B, 4 ,t ff 3 4 1. Commentators for the Assembly were Janice Tylor and Wanda Green. 2.
