2: The Army-Navy game has been a tradition at Chaparral for tour years. This year the biggest and best Army-Navy game was presented to Chaparral students and anyone who wanted to attend. Some ot the teachers got in on the activi- ties. They included Mr. Allemen, Mr. Cottin, Mr, Perry, Mr, Lytle, Mr. Tomlinson, Commander Sheilds, Mr. Beckstead, and lvlr. Gambarelli. The opening shot, tired by Mr. Allemen and his cannon, was heard around the stadium. The US. Army then called out a tank to do battle with a Navy Cruiser. Mr. Gambarelli flew over in his bi-plane and a friend ot his flew a Navy Mono- plane. The two engaged in an aireal battle while on the ground the tank and Cruiser scored several hits on each other. The Navy Cruiser, down and in trouble, called out the Marine S.VV.A.T. team to help. The tight was long but the Bat- tle was tied to the very end.
