Class History BY NIAKGARET BP RRY Hear ye' Hear ye In the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and fifty King Rickey dispatched the proclamation that all soldiers in the area who have had eight years of primary instruction should assemble at the Roy al Court of Chaney for further rigorous training Loyal followers of the King reported on horsebaek from Port Washington Stambaugh Holy Name and Saint Brendan The King explained that the eourt prophet had foreseen four years of eontmuous war and struggle and that he needed a fresh mill ia The battle was to begin immediately Each was assigned his eourse of struggle for the first year and was separated into divisions under th eommand of a eapable leader Faeh soldier did his work and fought hard so that he would reeenye the most attraetiye deeorltions when the merit eards were piss d out after eaeh sue weeks period The years of wir saw mueh sueeess and little failure Some of the soldiers who were not strong enough were outwitted by the enemy and fell at their hands Others who were caught off guard were wounded and found it difficult to eontinue fighting Howeyer most were loyal and remained with th allies for the remainder of the four years During these years some soldiers received awards for brayery and work beyond the call of duty The engrayed shield of every soldier is kept in the Kings vault as a permanent record of achievement At the beginning of the fourth year each soldier who had started training in nineteen hundred Heyer and Prineess Zelda Stump This priyilege w IS temporlrily reyoked for those Senior Squires who did not liye up to the standlrds of the Kings army Class Poem THE CHALLENGE They came from lands across the sea The forefathers of you and me Those men of courage and crude skill Those hard workers of iron will Ours is a town of which steel is a part The molten iron lies deep in our hearts Our life work will be in many molds We will grow stronger as eaeh year unfolds Prom somewhere in the world beyond The old man will be looking on And proudly to themselves they ll say The young ones haven t gone astray We didnt leaye our homes in vain When to America we came We brought seeds for a new generation One that will make 1 peaceful nation Agnes Bisean During thlt yelr the Senior Squires enyoyed many testiye oeeisnons including the Senior Squir Banquet Ind in exelusiye Bill Qerudely ealled the Prom J at yy hneh the newly erow ned ueen Blrbarl Schettmo was honored guest Now that these noble subjects haye completed their four years of seryice they will receiye their honorable discharges taking with them the blessings of King Rickey and his right hand man Stew ard Heath Let it be known that on june eleyenth nineteen hundred and fifty four eaeh y xliant defender of truth will receiye the honor of knighthood and be awarded a shining sword decorated with .1 searler ribbon and engrayed with his name These knights will be, foreyer, a eredlt to the Royil Court of Chaney twenty sey en O 1 ,ai Y l - , I .
