news of the school clubs, organizations, sports To increase the number of subs rib rs both inside and outside of the school, the lournalism de partment sponsors a circulation campaign each semester As part of the campaign, posters are made, talents dis overed, a loving cup awarded, and an assembly presented As part of tne yearly program, the Westerner staff prepares and presents a half hour broadcast on W F MJ High School Newsreel of the Air which is presented every Saturday at 11 OO a m At present the Westerner has a circulation of one thousand subscriptions The paper IS sent to former
