'YWV1' if i Gloss my Heafzfu A stlmulatnng story of the problems of youth was presented when the January 47 class gave thenr presentation of Cross My Heart to attentnve auduen es on November 'l4 and lb The play revolved around two self conscious teen agers Eleanor Ross charrnmgly portrayed by Betsy Roh and Bob Adams very ably played by George Pupac lt would be hard to say who stole the show for the whole cast dad a superb job Each person developed a dnstnnct character yet co operated so artistically wnth the rest ot the cast that the play was moulded Into a beautiful Droductlon The parents of these chnldren Mr and Mrs Ross Rnchard Leonhart and Connne Sulsbe and Mr and Mrs Adams Robert Benlamnn and Betty Rektor trned to master the sltuatnon but only proceeded to make nt worse The other chnldren of the Rosses and Adamses, Paullne Adams, played by Paulune Kralzbuk, and Jlm Ross, played by Albert Ivan and Charlle Westover, who was Paulnne's france, portrayed by Andrew Nadzam, as well as trnends of Bob's with Peggy Arcomano as Patsy Jones, Donna Ranknn as Genrnetta Duval, Mary Ann Needham as Lola Pomeroy, ond Wnlluam DuPnore as Carl Young, added humorous and Interesting touches which helped to make the play the success that ut was The moral In the play was a plea for the better understanding between parents and chul dren, provlng that both have to contrubute equally If It were not for the superlatnve guldance and unstructuon of Mass Mollne Russell, thas play could not have won such great public approval A delightful orchestra concert was presented by the Chaney Orchestra under the dnrectuon of Mr A L Sanders, wlth a saxophone solo by Chester McPhee The sensor advisers were Mass Rae Seller and Mr P D Keenan The stage settnng wa s done by Mr R S Pusher and Ed Gallo, Ed Jackson, Bert Thomas, Paul Matosec, and Ray Tomaskovlc, tlckets by Lnllnan Moore and Mnchael Lenensku, posters by Mass Marguernte Cost and Joan Hoover, .leannme Ovens, Duck Hardy, Irene Kochan, Ed Resetor, and Mar garet Keelung, lnghts by Mr H O Foss and Andrew Nadzam, and curtauns by Ed Pakos The stage crew consisted of Robert Beard, Charles Fedyna, Muchael Lenenskl, and the house crew was John Holub, Paul Tasslle, and Beverly Teets, and prompter Dorothy Flowers twenty-fo u
