Chandlers High School Installs Aeronautics Course With Own Plane By Dave Whitaker Chandlers High school In Logan county is believed to be the only high school in Kentucky that is teaching aeronautics through the utilization of its own airplane, free films and a state-accredited text- book. And the total investment for all the equipment, including the war surplus airplane, was less than $100. There isn't a high school in the stale that can’t afford an airplane and an aeronautics course. assert- ed H. M. The current senior class includes 11 boys, no girls. Next year, the class wUl consist of 14 girls and no boys. If the girls want to study aeronautics, they will be given the opportunity, too.
