After going 27-0 last season, the Girls Varsity Basketball Team is ex- pected to have an enthusiastic year. The team, with five returning players, had two goals for the season: try to win as many games as possible and qualify for the Divisional Tournament. Areas in which the girls thought they needed the most improvement were the fast break, team defense, and attitudes toward each other. Said Coach Rich- ard Pacheco, Every girl on the team will contribute in one way or the other, and no one can ever predict if our team will go undefeated. 46 Sports oys Tennis The Chandler High boys tennis team can anticipate a winning season with their killer combination of returning seasoned seniors and excellent rookies. Coach Pete Beskid is looking forward to helping the team achieve their goal of representing the Wolves at the state tournament. This team can give l0O'Z1 performance and earn a l00'Z1 record for their school, commented Coach Beskid in regards to his total faith in his team's willingness to play top tennis.
