DINAH MAKES GOOD LEADER Dinah Bratcher has always been one of the busiest students on campus. Her activi- ties vary from Wolf Howl co-editor to Chand- ler Track Manager to being a member of Chandler Youth AARC, a youth group that works with retarded children . She has been an important part of the CHS Varsity Volleyball Teamforthe past three years and has served as secreta -treasurerfor the Lettergirls' Club. Dinarh also spent many hours working as a Trackette and was elected president of the group. Other organizations she has been af- filiated with are the Spanish Club and Quill and Scroll, a club rewarding journalistic excellence. This past summer Dinah was one of three girls who represented Chandler High School at the annual Girls State Convention held at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She returned home to prepare for her duties here as the first Student Body President since lVluriel Knox's term in 1953. Evidence of her work and influence on Chandler's campus was recently shown by her nomination for Homecoming Queen. 10-F eature DR. H. CONLEY NEW AT C.H. . When Dr. Howard K. Conley came to Chandler High School this year, the school quickly took on a new look. The walls were painted in cheerful colors, bathrooms were remodeled and updated and the fence between Cleveland and the main campus was torn down. The most significant difference he and the other new administrators brought to the school, however, was attitudinal. Dr. Conley, lVlr. Caccamo, and IVlr. Teegerstrom all share a concept of running a school which can be summarized as positive. All emphasis this year is on moving forward and on improvements. The work force to supplement and improve is led capably by Dr. Conley, who clearly exhibits an active interest in our school and is always seen at our school activities. Dr. Conley has brought much to our school, and has shown himself to be a concerned and will- ing administrator. We welcome him.
