As we leave the Fabulous Fifties behind us and rush head- long into the Unknown Sixties, I would admonish the students of Chandler High School to have faith in themselves, faith in their future, and faith in their God. For l believe you students have the basic qualities which will respond to the present urgency for increase in both excellence and quantity of learning. If the future requires greater competence of the adult, as l believe it will, our faith is firm that today's children have the capacity and the willingness to achieve this added skill and knowledge. A climate for learning, a vision for personal growth, a personal responsibility for our country and a respect for education can and must be engendered. W. G. Austin Superintendent
