V4 C7345 C0 10516 901014 Being a Champion Majorette is not all glory like some people think. There are many hours of hard practice, bump bruises and pulled muscles to get rou- tines to perfection. They must raise all the money for their uniforms used in the season and to pay their instruc- tor, Betsy Ondich. His involvement with the band in the past two years has re- sulted in a greatly improved perfor- mance by band members. He has work- ed hard to rebuild the pride and respect that was for a while lost.
