Getting If Zfagelher Champion High could not function without the small groups of people who do the dirty jobs: our cooks and custodians. We do not realize that they are important, but they are very much so! The custodians keep our school spotless and well maintained. Mr. Cot- trell and Mr. Wingfield are on duty during regular school hours while the other custodians begin their work when the students leave. The cooks work doubly hard to feed us all. Remember- ing that their meals must feed over 800 people makes one hesitate before criti- cizing. We, as students, appreciate our cooks, custodians, and the jobs they do. Leonard Miller reads the agenda of the day to his custodial staff. Mrs' Elser and Bayich clean in the kitchen' Mr. Wingfield readies his tools for the next job. Champion's Snoopy seems to be very attach- ed to Jeff Dawson. 5' CZIZLSW Z7 6011 6.75, leadershzp Hales Assumed One of the most rewarding clubs at Champion High is its Student Council. Not only do its members have a chance to be actively involved in a fun and creative organization, but they also have a chance to voice their opinions about What's wrong at CHSf' Some activities Council sponsored were the Homecoming dance and fes- assembly. Other projects will include a disco dance, a canned food drive at Easter, and a submarine sandwich sale. Council was led this year by Presi- dent Michelle Vitale and co-Vice Pres- idents Judy Kuszmaul and Cindy Saw- ayda. It was advised by Mrs. Patricia Wolfe, and Mr. Tom Tinkler, who re- placed Mrs. Wolfe when she left due tivities, the concession stand at foot- ball games, and the 1978 Christmas to pregnancy. The President, Michelle, and Vice President, Judy, listen to ideas from the rest of the council members.
