As of this date the girls have had their best season ever, finishing the league undefeated 15-0. Their 2 losses to Harding and Reserve were non-league games. Week after week the girls re- mained top in the 'AA' polls. There was no outstanding player, all worked together, doing their best. What more could be asked for? Lead-the teamwork were seniors Sue Skaggs, and Kelly Chesmar, who rebounded well and scored high. Peggy Davis always prov- ed a challenge, while Laurie Jo Emer- ineis winning point against LaBrae was most dramatic. There will always be special memories about this team and players. This was his first year to work with these girls. One of their strong points was the teamwork they displayed whether at home or on the road, at practice or a real game.
