Making it All Worthuflzile The season started with unexperi- enced players brought up from JV7s without really playing too much var- sity basketball. Dave Bradley, being the only returning player, tried hard to pull our victories but failed to Niles, Warren and J FK. With a little experience in their hands the Flashes rose the fans to their feet with victories against Badger, Maplewood, and Mathews. The Flash- es held a three-way tie for the league title with LaBrae and Lakeview. Many players had outstanding sea- sons. Dave Bradley kept the fans watch- ing by his excellent ball handling abil- ity. Bob Moldovan fired in his game high of 20 points against Labrae only to suffer the disappointment of losing by 3 points. Don Brooker started out the season spiking the ball out of the hands of rivals, but in the middle of the season he suffered from injury along with Scott Kuszmaul. Scott Freer also did an excellent j ob at the boardsg Randy Ford just needed alit- tle experience behind him before he started dazzling the opponents with fancy footwork. Paul Rumple also contributed an outstanding effort. aeaf -as :r f xx Between opponents, Scott Kuszmaul wings Who me? No way can that foul be called on one up and over. Don Brooker.
